Eye Exams

Here at the Bartlett Eye & Laser Clinic we have two highly qualified Optometrists that perform Complete Eye Exams and Diabetic Exams. This is what you can expect during a routine eye exam.

• Your eyes will be dilated
• Your eyes will be light sensitive for 4-6 hours after being dilated
• You will be given a new prescription for glasses if your vision has changed

Dilating the eyes enables the Optometrist to get a better view of the inside of your eye. Dilating drops frequently blur vision for a length of time; this may cause your eyes to be light sensitive as well. We do recommend that you bring a driver if you are uncomfortable driving while being dilated.

This is what we will need you to bring for your routine eye exam:

• Pair of dark sunglasses
• Any prescription glasses and contact lenses you may have
• Insurance Cards
